The Portabiti system
is the ideal solution, offering a myriad of
practical, operating and economic advantages,
which can be used in various fields: from dry
cleaners to industrial laundries,

and automatic coat-check systems.
This truly innovative system was created through
a combination of experience, high quality materials
and special construction methods. Portabiti
is a continuous-rack aerial system with a steel
construction, designed to guarantee accurate
and precise garment storage.
The PORTABITI system is easy
to install and maintain. Thanks to its modules
of various shapes and sizes, it can be installed
in multiple rows. Portabiti
by Metalprogetti
reduces space requirements and solves logistical
problems by adapting to any location it is installed
in. What makes Portabiti so unique is its ability
to store hundreds of garments in a minimum area
while reducing the time it takes to locate individual
garments. In fact, garments can be found quickly
and easily with either manual controls or an
automatic computerized locating system. From
the keyboard, the operator can retrieve the
desired articles and position them at an established
point.

this system is made with a continuous band system
without predetermined positions, which guarantees
a certain flexibility and adaptability.
The storage conveyor where the garments are
hung can be made in a wide range of sizes, according
to the size of the lots thanks to the use of
special separators (numbered mobile clips).
The continuous band system is perfectly smooth,
moving garments easily and simply.
The C/70
system is ideal for managing medium to large
garment lots.
This is also the perfect solution for laundry
services that do not need a completely automatic

CASELLE model:
this system, thanks to its unique flexibility,
is the ideal solution for a wide range of space-related
problems, especially in cloak-rooms
where space is limited.
In addition to the classic floor, in-line or
other configurations, installed at an incline
or in multiple rows, the innovative
SPIRAL shape, configured in two or
more rows, takes advantage of the maximum amount
of overhead space.
This special configuration allows the operator
to work at eye level, consequently
preventing the use of unsafe aids such as
ladders, stands or platforms.
The Portabiti
solution with the aerial or suspended design,
thanks to its special support structure, leaves
work areas free and allows for greater installation
flexibility by leaving the space and passageways

SEARCH
The Portabiti system from
Metalprogetti
equipped with the AUTOMATIC SEARCH
feature makes it possible to enter the number
of the slot to be positioned near the operator.
The system then automatically brings the selected
slot to the programmed position.
The system also offers the option of entering
position lists that correspond to different
slots (and thus to several garments), to be
recalled at a later time, all with the simple
touch of a button.
Thanks to the precise calculation system,
Portabiti automatically determines
the shortest route to the
desired garment (with the forward and reverse
functions). This operating system is also
beneficial to the operator since they are
free to leave the front desk and perform other
tasks, consequently saving money for the business.

SELECTIVE
SEARCH
The Portabiti system by Metalprogetti
with the SELECTIVE SEARCH
feature is a revolutionary search
system. This is not an ordinary slot
search system, it allows for a precise
management of the conveyor belt,
guaranteeing top performance.
The SELECTIVE SEARCH system
is extremely accurate and
easy to operate: when the
garment is loaded, the operator enters a lot
number (which may correspond to the customer's
ticket number) into the terminal key pad and
the number of slots that are needed to store
the corresponding garments. The system selects
the necessary number of slots and positions
them at the precise loading/unloading point.
When collecting the garments, the operator
simply has to repeat the same operation and
the system will automatically find the corresponding
slots and position them at the requested point.
MANUAL BAGGING
MACHINE
This machine makes bags with a straight bottom
and contoured top edge. To make the bag, the
operator must hang the garment on the hook
inside the bagging machine, run the
plastic film over the garment down to the
required length and then,
pushing on the back lever, cut and
heat seal the top edge of the bag.
This easy to operate machine seals bags quickly
with a few simple steps..
For high volume businesses we recommend the
PNEUMATIC MODEL.
With this model, the plastic film is pulled
down over the garment as described above,
but the bags are heat sealed by simply
pressing the pneumatic buttons. Once
the plastic film has been cut into shape and
is sealed, the two triangular pieces of plastic
that are left over can be removed by hand.
It’s important to note that the Metalprogetti
bagging machine seals bags quickly on only
a small section of plastic film, consequently
preventing unpleasant odours.
While the plastic film customarily used is
600 mm thick, this machine also works with
various films of regular thickness,
such as those between 18 and 25 micrometers.
