Metalprogetti performs ongoing research activities, often working in close collaboration with universities; mechanical engineers, electronic engineers and computer programmers devote as much time and energy as is involved in the production process, developing increasingly reliable, effective solutions for the automation of object picking and hanging-garment management.
We believe that research is important, so much so that a major portion of our annual sales revenue is immediately reinvested in this sector. And this choice has already borne fruit: we have won several competitive bids enabling us to boost our activities and, in 2012, an important European Commission publication recognized our implementation of “best practices” in Italy in support of regional policies.
Our experience also gives us in-depth knowledge of the sectors in which we operate; only in this way can we design tailor-made solutions and constantly find new applications thanks to our cross-sector skills.
The Metalprogetti TECHLAB is the area where we produce and test all our automatic system prototypes; it is a laboratory where ideas, technical data and advice from partners and customers come together to ensure the success of new projects and ongoing improvement of existing devices. Our team is composed of 5 mechanical and electronics engineers plus 3 computer engineers; and to this we must add our long-established, fruitful collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Perugia.
